Jack is an experienced public speaker. After spending two years majoring in Music Education at Baylor University, he switched his major to Communications, with a Speech emphasis.
While Jack was sophomore class president at Baylor, he gave a pep-talk to the Baylor University football team before they played Southern Methodist University. The team was so fired up that they led that game 21-0 at halftime. Unfortunately, they eventually lost the game to SMU by a final score of 28-21. Baylor head football coach Grant Teaff later quipped that he should have had Jack speak at halftime, instead!
Over the years, Jack has spoken on a wide variety of topics at various luncheons, meetings, and special events for business, civic, and political organizations; churches; etc. His oratory skills and sense of humor make him an entertaining and motivating speaker.
Jack is available to speak on many topics, including arts, entertainment, dining, travel, media, conversational skills, sales techniques, how to get your writing published, etc. Having extensive experience working with restaurants in various ways, he is also available to speak to restaurant employees about how to give better service and how to make bigger tips.
